Warranties

1 Voluntary 1-year warranty

Leo & Lexi provides a voluntary 1-year warranty on eligible products purchased directly from Leo & Lexi, starting from the delivery date. The warranty applies only in the country of purchase and is not transferable to second-hand buyers or subsequent owners.

2 What the warranty covers

Our voluntary warranty covers manufacturing defects, structural defects and faulty parts that arise under normal indoor cat use and in accordance with product instructions, during the warranty period.

3 What the warranty excludes

To the extent permitted by law, the voluntary warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear, including scratching, chewing, rubbing, fabric compression, sisal wear, cushion wear, basket wear or cosmetic ageing from normal cat use;

  • natural variation in wood, cattail, sisal, weave, colour, tone, grain, shape, branch form, texture or finish;

  • damage caused by incorrect assembly, misuse, overloading, modification, neglect, outdoor use, water exposure, poor maintenance, unsuitable placement, or failure to follow instructions;

  • damage caused by pets, children, household accidents, cleaning products, heat, moisture, environmental conditions, or use by animals or people for whom the product was not designed;

  • products purchased second-hand, from unauthorised sellers, or without proof of purchase;

  • issues caused or contributed to by modifications, unauthorised repairs, replacement of parts, or use of non-Leo & Lexi parts.

4 Warranty claims

To make a warranty claim, you must contact us with proof of purchase, delivery date where available, a description of the issue, and clear photos or videos showing the problem. We may request additional information to assess the claim.

5 Warranty remedies

Under our voluntary warranty, we may provide a replacement part or replacement product at our discretion. If the issue is limited to a replaceable part, we may provide that part rather than replacing the full product.

This warranty does not limit any remedy you may be entitled to under Australian Consumer Law, including a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy where required by law.

6 Replacement baskets and replacement parts

Replacement baskets and replacement parts may not be covered by a separate voluntary warranty unless expressly stated on the relevant product page. However, this does not limit any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
